Frequently asked questions

The alarm didn't go off in the background

Make sure location access is set to “Always” (Settings → GeoAlarm → Location) and notifications are allowed. The alarm tracks location only while it is armed.

Does GeoAlarm work without internet?

Yes — the alarm itself only needs GPS. Internet is used only for the map tiles and address search.

Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I change the alarm sound?

Tap the gear button on the map screen and pick a sound — including the famous bánh bao street cart 🥟
